Save the Redwoods League is turning 100!?

During Centennial Celebration Week, the League and their partners are hosting special events to commemorate the League’s Centennial Year and 100 years of protecting our redwood forests. Together, they will honor coast redwoods and giant sequoia, the tallest, largest, and arguably the most beautiful living things on Earth.

The North Coast plays host to the initial festivities, starting on Sunday, October 7. This family-friendly festival is at the gateway to Redwood National and State Parks, home to the world’s tallest forest. The festival will honor the League’s Centennial and the 50th anniversary of Redwood National Park. It offers live music, children’s activities, local food trucks, a beer garden sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Brewery and a wine garden sponsored by Barefoot Cellars, and a variety of other features. The festival is free, and it is sponsored by Save the Redwoods League, the National Parks Service, and the Redwood Parks Conservancy. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
